"Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk] came under 122mm artillery fire, banned under the Minsk agreements. The enemy also used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Novhorodske [34km north of Donetsk], Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk] and Avdiyivka. In addition, 82mm mortars were used against our defenders in Mayorske [45km north of Donetsk] and Troitske [69km west of Luhansk]. The militants used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian strongholds in Avdiyivka, Novhorodske, Zaitseve and Luhanske [59km north-east of Donetsk]," the statement reads. In Mariupol area, the terrorists used 120mm mortars to shell ATO positions in Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).
