Poroshenko signs law on social protection of ATO participants' family members

According to the presidential press service, the law is aimed at improving the social protection of family members of the soldiers. "The implementation of the law will improve the financial situation of low-income families, whose members are involved in the counterterrorism operation. The bill enters into force on the day following the day of its publication," the report reads. The amendments stipulate income of these families does not take into account the wages of military personnel, who are directly involved in the army operation for the time of its implementation.
