Over the time of the ATO in Donbass sappers cleared more than 20,000 mines, shells and explosive devices. This was announced by a spokesman for the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernobay.
In March, head of the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznyov said that one year of the armed conflict means 10 years needed for further demining of the area.
