“The Head of State informed about the escalation of the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the growing number of Russian provocations in the occupied Donbas and Crimea. Petro Poroshenko also called for keeping the issue of the Russian aggression against Ukraine on the agenda of the North Atlantic Alliance,” reads the statement. In his turn, Jens Stoltenberg underscored the importance of full implementation of the Minsk agreements. At the same time, the parties discussed the status of implementation of the ‘Integrated package of NATO assistance to Ukraine’ approved at the Alliance Summit in Warsaw. The President expressed hope that the package would help to modernize the Ukrainian army to the NATO standards.
