EU Commission Vice President to discuss Russian gas supplies in Kyiv on Sept 2

"During his visit to Kyiv on September 2, Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will discuss with the Ukrainian leadership the progress in reforming of the state energy sector, as well as the possibility of resumption of tripartite talks with Russia about the conditions for gas supplies during the winter period," reads a statement. According to the program of the visit, the Vice-President of European Commission plans to meet with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Paruby, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development of Construction and Housing Hennady Zubko, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Nasalyk.
