Ukraine expects a positive decision of the IMF on the next tranche to Ukraine soon, Ukrainian Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk said. Hereby answering the question whether information that the date of a meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board to consider the issue of the next tranche to Ukraine has been determined as and it scheduled for September 15 is true, the Minister made it clear that this is the case, but said that it should be declared by the IMF Executive Board of directors.
Recently the head of IMF External Relations Department Jerry Rice said that the parties have maximally neared their positions and the meeting of the Executive Board of directors regarding Ukraine will be held in the second half of September.
