Rada calls on intl community not to recognize State Duma elections in Crimea

The Ukrainian parliament appealed to the international community to refrain from monitoring the elections and called to not recognize their results under any circumstances. The Verkhovna Rada stressed that foreigners who will travel to the occupied territory to monitor the illegal elections, will be threatened with criminal proceedings for infringement of the rules of entry into the temporarily occupied territory to harm the national interests of Ukraine. as is known, Russia annexes Ukraine’s Crimea peninsula in March 2014.
