Ukrainian delegates to the Parliamentary Assemble of the Council of Europe are mulling the possibility of suspending work if the organization restores the Russian delegation's rights in keeping with the principle "eyes wide shut," head of the Ukrainian delegates, MP Volodymyr Ariev said. "We'll decide on it depending on the situation and circumstances that will come up at that moment. Indeed, the probability of such an option is quite high," he said.
Yet, he said, like all of PACE member countries, the Ukrainian delegation also plans to apply for its credentials in PACE at the beginning of the year to be verified, he said.
