President Poroshenko said this when opening a plenary sitting of the 13th YES Annual Meeting, Ukrinform reports. "I’ll have a meeting with U.S. President Obama and I’ve asked for a meeting with two [presidential] candidates. One of them has already agreed - Hillary Clinton. I’m waiting for the confirmation from the second candidate – Trump,” President Poroshenko said. He also noted that there is support for Ukraine from the United States in general – from Republicans and Democrats. "It’s not the support from a certain senator or congressman; it’s a manifestation of support from the American people,” President Poroshenko said, when asked about Ukraine’s expectations from the next U.S. president.
