Ukraine, Qatar interested in enhancing economic cooperation

According to the President’s press office, the parties discussed prospects of intensification of bilateral trade-economic cooperation, first of all in the energy sphere. Special attention was paid to the involvement of the Ukrainian companies in the large-scale infrastructure projects of Qatar. The President invited the Qatari side to efficiently join the activity of the newly-established National Investment Council of Ukraine and declared interest in Qatari investors’ participation in privatization of Ukraine’s state enterprises. The President expressed gratitude for the consistent support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
