This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting in New York with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko. According to Turkish leader, despite the warming in relations between Ankara and the Kremlin, Turkey will continue recognizing the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia and will continue to condemn the violation of the rights of Crimean Tatars.During the meeting Petro Poroshenko invited Turkish companies to take part in the privatization of Ukrainian enterprises. The parties agreed to hold soon a meeting of Ukrainian-Turkish working group on energy.
