Israeli President terminates visit to Ukraine due to death of Shimon Peres

Shimon Peres died in the early hours of Wednesday morning at the age of 93. As reported, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin arrived on an official visit in Ukraine on September 27 to participate in high-level events dedicated to the 75th commemoration of the Babi Yar tragedy. He met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and delivered a speech in the Verkhovna Rada. His visit was expected to last until September 30. Today President Rivlin will return to Israel.
