“The United States is one of Ukraine's most important partners, and relations between the countries become even stronger. The total trade turnover has come to $1.2 billion over seven months of 2016, which is 6% higher than that recorded for the same period in 2015,” the ministry said in the report, adding that 87 U.S. technical assistance projects worth about $1.3 billion are being implemented in Ukraine. As reported, a meeting of the U.S.-Ukraine Council on Trade and Investment was scheduled for October 5, 2016 in Washington, where the parties intended to discuss the urgent issues related to investment, trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.
