The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce finished oral hearings in the united case concerning mutual claims of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and Russia's public joint-stock company Gazprom over a contract to supply gas to Ukraine.During the oral hearings the parties presented reports on their legal positions, counter interrogation of witnesses and experts were held. It is expected that in November the parties will send a post-hearing brief to the tribunal.The final decision of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in the case over the gas contract is expected before March 31, 2017.
The amount of the claim of the national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy to "Gazprom" is USD 28 billion 300 million.
