The State Audit Service following the audit held by the Finance Ministry began checking of 18 branches of the Pension Fund in 15 regions of the country. Inspections concern the use of budgetary funds allocated for grants to pay pensions, allowances and increases to pensions and to cover the deficit of the Pension Fund for payment of pensions for 2014 - 2016 years.
On March 1, 2016 first over the years of independence in Ukraine complex systemic verification was launched of recepients of social benefits that is carried out to identify scammers and those who are not entitled to receive social benefits.
