This was stated by European Parliament President Martin Schulz during a meeting with President Petro Poroshenko. The parties agreed that the Association Agreement must be ratified immediately.
Poroshenko also urged the European Parliament to accelerate the adoption of additional trade preferences for Ukraine. The sides also discussed the results of the Normandy Four meeting.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has also discussed with European Parliament President Martin Schulz the possibility of strengthening sanctions against Russia in the context of human rights violations in Crimea.
