Hungarian government provides humanitarian assistance to Ukraine

The Hungarian government for the provision of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $3.6 million and treatment of Ukrainian military men, wounded in the ATO.Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude to Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban for such a decision of the Hungarian government during their meeting within the framework of the working visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to Maastricht town (Netherlands).

In addition Poroshenko highly praised Hungarian support of the visa-free regime issue between Ukraine and the European Union, as well as the speedy ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

In the context of the conflict settlement in Donbas, the sides discussed prospects for the continuation of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation as an effective tool to ensure full implementation of the Minsk agreements and the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine over the occupied territories.
