US financially support decentralization in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the American program "DOBRE" was launched to support the decentralization process. It is designed for 5 years and has a budget of $ 50 million. The project will support 75 communities in order to improve the management of resources, improving quality of public services, revitalizing the local economy and attract people to the community development, said US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Jovanovich. In turn, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman thanked the US for supporting decentralization reform in Ukraine and stressed that the establishment of quality system of local government is a priority.
