High competitiveness of Ukrainian products is one of the obstacles to all Ukrainian goods entering European Union markets, Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutoviy has said. The cost of Ukrainian production is low, and Europe puts up barriers to keep them out. However, the minister said, Ukrainian dairy products are gradually appearing in Europeans markets. He also said that the agreement on a free trade area [within the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine] helped Ukraine reimburse for the loss of the Russian market.
