Ukraine and the Netherlands have to find a mutually acceptable compromise to unlock the ratification of the Association Agreement by the Netherlands. This is what President Petro Poroshenko said during a telephone conversation with the head of government of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, the press service of the President says.
Mark Rutte informed about the efforts made by him to address the question of ratification of the Agreement by the Parliament of the Netherlands. He also confirmed the consistent position of the country to grant visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
To recall, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin went to the Netherlands to hold talks on the ratification by the parliament of the Netherlands of the Association agreement between Ukraine and EU.
