The foreign minister stated this during a meeting with Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij yesterday, October 3, the ministry’s press service reports. “The minister also thanked the UWC president and Ukrainian communities abroad for attracting international support and special attention towards the spread of truthful information about the events taking place today in our country, by joining the efforts of all Ukrainians in counteracting Russian aggression,” reads the report. In addition, the sides discussed the issues of further cooperation on implementing a wide range of humanitarian projects in Ukraine, the international community's support for the UN General Assembly’s draft resolution, initiated by Ukraine, regarding the state of human rights in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (in Crimea), as well as the support for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by Ukrainians living abroad.
