Militants launch 44 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In particular, the militants launched 25 attacks on ATO troops in Mariupol direction. The enemy shelled Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), using small arms, grenade launchers, 82mm and 120mm mortars. Five ceasefire violations by militants were recorded in Donetsk direction. Mortars, prohibited under the Minsk agreements, were used to shell Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). In Luhansk direction, the enemy launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions. The terrorists fired at Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), using mortars and other weapons.
