Ukraine signs European Code of Social Security

"A significant event for our country has happened today at the Council of Europe. The European Code of Social Security, which is the benchmark of the European model of social security based on social justice, was signed. By signing the Code, Ukraine has made a very important step, after which we will work hard on the way to its ratification and further Ukraine's accession to Article 12 of the European Social Charter (revised)," Rozenko said. He noted that the Ukrainian Government would continue its efforts to complete the adaptation of the national legislation to the European standards and certain multilateral international instruments of the Council of Europe in the social field.
