NBU Governor: Ukraine may not receive tranches from EU and IMF this year

NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva stated this at a press briefing in the central bank, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. “Our current forecast of foreign exchange reserves is projected at 17.5 billion U.S. dollars. This forecast includes 600 million from the EU and 1.3 billion from the IMF. However, there are risks that we’ll not manage to receive these funds until the end of the current year and so then we’ll reconsider our forecast of reserves,” Gontareva said. She also stressed that Ukraine should continue cooperation with international creditors.
