Ukraine President, US Special Envoy agree to raise role of Ukrainian GTS in EU energy security

The parties agreed to coordinate efforts to increase the role and importance of the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in ensuring natural gas transit to the EU countries and energy security of Europe. “The parties discussed further reform of the energy sector of Ukraine, diversification of energy supply sources of the country and attraction of American investments and technologies in Ukraine’s energy sector,” reads the report.
