"We will not get the tranche this year, but we hope that in the beginning of the next year we will see a meeting of [the Directors’ Board of the IMF] and the tranche will arrive in January-February, I cannot say for sure, but I hope that it will be early next year," Gontareva said. Earlier, the National Bank expected to receive the next tranche from the IMF worth 1.3 billion US dollars by the end of 2016, but it required adoption of the draft budget for 2017 and a number of laws in the first week of December. This would be the fourth tranche from the IMF to Ukraine under its Extended Fund Facility programme.
