Breast milk bank to be created in Kyiv

The project will be implemented with the assistance of experts from Sweden. This was announced by deputy head of Kyiv city state administration Mykola Povoroznyk. According to him, the bank is planned to be created at the perinatal center on the base of the City Maternity Hospital № 7. It is in this institution that most premature babies are born who need special care, including nutrition. Feeding children breast milk will reduce mortality and disability among infants.
