EU leaders already reach consensus on extension of sanctions against Russia – Grybauskaite

"As for sanctions, this issue has been already approved. All member states believe that it is inevitable. Accordingly, the necessary procedures are already carried out," the president of Lithuania said. As is known, the formal legal decision to extend the restrictive measures in the EU will be taken until January 31, 2017, when the current half-year package of sanctions expires.
