Savchenko expelled from Batkivshchyna faction

"As we can see, principles and political beliefs of Nadiya Savchenko and the Batkivshchyna faction do not coincide. The faction is strongly opposed to any negotiations with the terrorists, amnesty and legalization of armed groups in Donbas," the statement reads. The faction discussed the circumstances with Nadiya Savchenko and decided to expel her from the faction, the party's press service said. As reported, Savchenko notoriously met with leaders of the eastern Ukraine separatists earlier this week, and later claimed she does not see them as terrorists.
