"Wheat exports constitute more than half of total exports. The largest importers of Ukrainian grains traditionally are Asian and African countries: Egypt, China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and others, the report said. The press service of the Ministry also said exports of Ukrainian agricultural products amounted to nearly 12 billion US dollars for the 10 months of 2016. This accounts for more than 40% of total national exports. Imports of agricultural products to Ukraine during the corresponding period amounted to 3.1 billion dollars, accounting for almost 10% of national imports. So, a positive agricultural trade balance in the amount of USD 8.7 million was formed," the statement reads.
