Ukrainian agricultural exports already reach nearly $12 bn this year

"According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, exports of Ukrainian agricultural products during January-October, 2016 amounted to USD 11.8 billion, accounting for 40.7% of total national exports. Imports of agricultural products to Ukraine during the corresponding period amounted to USD 3.1 million, accounting for 9.9% of national imports. So, a positive agricultural trade balance in the amount of USD 8.7 million was formed," the statement reads. As noted, grains ($4.8 billion), fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin ($3.1 billion) and prepared food ($ 1.8 billion) constitute the largest share in the Ukrainian exports.
