Ukrainian athletes win over 3,500 medals in 2016

"Some people say our team did not succeed at the Olympics 2016. However, I am grateful for each of eleven Olympic medals. Each award is our common victory, the success of the entire Ukraine," Zhdanov said. Representatives of non-Olympic sports have won 2,641 medals, including 800 gold ones, in the international competitions. In addition, Ukrainian athletes won 477 medals, including 203 gold ones, at Paralympics 2016.
