Ukrainian president hopes EBRD to expand financing for Ukraine in 2017 meeting with EBRD president

The Head of State expressed hope that the volume of EBRD financial resources for cooperation with Ukraine in 2017 would increase. The parties also discussed the reform of the banking sphere, according to the press service of the Ukrainian President. Chakrabarti praised the effort of the Ukrainian authorities in the issue of nationalization of PrivatBank, the country’s largest bank, and confirmed the intention of the EBRD to further provide expert assistance in the reform of that bank institution.
