More than 95 percent of domestic public roads are in need of major or current repair. This was reported in the Ministry of Infrastructure. In the Office this was explained by the fact that the road network was formed in the Soviet times and because of systematic underfunding of the industry for many years, most of the roadway has suffered significant damage.
Earlier, Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian said that Ukraine for ten years needs to annually spend at least UAH 50 billion to reach European standards pavement.
