President Poroshenko: Volume of direct German investments in Ukrainian economy rising sharply

"I have just had a meeting with representatives of the German companies. The large number of them is currently working in Ukraine. I was pleased to hear their assessment of a significant improvement of the investment climate in Ukraine, praises for dramatic increase in the volume of our cooperation, the volume of direct German investments in the Ukrainian economy, German exports and Ukrainian imports, which, as the Chancellor stated, has shown an increase of almost 20%," the President said. "We need to give a new impetus to a number of projects in the economic and investment area. We expect the German investors to take part in the privatization process in Ukraine," he added.
