Militants launch 67 attacks on Ukrainian troops in past day, two soldiers killed

They attacked the Ukrainian positions using heavy arms that were to be withdrawn under the ceasefire agreements. Their attacks included use of artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. Most attacks are reported near the separatist-held city of Donetsk, including the town of Avdiyivka to the north, and the strategic government-controlled seaport Mariupol near the border with Russia. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 14 wounded in the hostilities over the past day, military spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk told a press briefing in Kyiv on Thursday noon.
