More than UAH 3 billion is foreseen for the development of national culture in this year's state budget. This is stated in greeting of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman the occasion of International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on February 21.
These funds will be directed to the development of cinema, Ukrainian image projects in the world in different directions and the launch of the national institute of books.
The Premier also noted that currently the Government implements full protectionist policies for the protection and development of the Ukrainian language and culture.
