A march under the flags of the Unified Union of Patriots of Ukraine, a non-governmental organization, is taking place in central Kyiv.
Some 500 people formed a column in Khreschatyk Street, members of the organization moved towards Independence Square and then proceeded down the Alley of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes towards the presidential office in Bankova Street.There is a heavy police presence to maintain public order. Meanwhile, events commemorating the Heavenly Hundred Heroes continue in the center of Kyiv. Memorial services are being held at the sites where protesters were shot dead, and people keep bringing flowers.
