People's Deputy Andriy Artemenko, who became famous after his controversial back-door "peace plan" for occupied Crimea and Donbas, made another controversial statement. If Ukraine, Russia and the United States as a mediator to the end of this year agree in the parliaments on all the points of his proposed plan, it will be possible in 2018 to put an end to the war unleashed by the Kremlin. This is what Artemenko said in an interview with "Apostrophe".
On February 20 Oleh Liashko Radical Party's faction in the Verkhovna Rada decided to expel faction member, MP Andriy Artemenko for his "peace plan" and demanded that he be stripped off his parliamentary mandate. Earlier Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhiy Leshchenko from the Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction gave his version of Artemenko's plan. According to his information, the so-called 'Artemenko plan' was devised by Lyovochkin-Boyko/Surkov. Boyko was in Moscow for meetings not long ago. Artemenko's role was to deliver the plan and to act as a frontman in the future.
Ukraine's Opposition Bloc Party says that the party has nothing to do with the peace plan proposed by Ukrainian parliamentarian Andriy Artemenko for the settlement of the Donbas crisis, which was reportedly handed over to the U.S. Presidential Administration.
In the Presidential Administration Artemenko's "peace plan" was called an adventure and attempt to discredit. This was told Ukrainian News by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kostyantyn Yeliseyev.
