In Mariupol direction, the enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms to shell Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol). Ukrainian positions in Hnutove, Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) came under mortar fire. In Donetsk direction, militants used tanks to launch attacks on Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), and Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists fired at Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), using 120mm and 82mm mortars. In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 152mm artillery fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk). Militants also shelled Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), Orikhove (75km north of Luhansk), Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), and Krymske, using mortars of different calibers.
