“The Ukrainian Minister emphasized the symbolism of the visit of the British and Polish colleagues, which is taking place during the third anniversary of the beginning of Russian aggression. He thanked them for their solidarity and support of Ukraine in the fight for the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity,” reads a report posted on the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s website. During the talks, Boris Johnson and Witold Waszczykowski stated that the Russian aggression against Ukraine needs a robust response, so the pressure on the Russian Federation from the international community must be strengthened in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine in internationally recognized borders. The the ministers underlined the significant progress of Ukraine in implementing reforms and assured of continuing assistance to Ukraine in implementing internal reforms. In addition, Pavlo Klimkin separately noted the practical assistance that the United Kingdom and Poland provide to Ukraine in training the Ukrainian serviceperson, the treatment of the wounded Ukrainian soldiers, as well as in rendering assistance in the implementation of social and economic reforms.
