Odessa schools expect children of internally displaced persons

From Sptember 1 this year more than 2,000 children of displaced persons from the area of ATO and annexed Crimea will study in Odessa schools.

This year, schools in Odessa will admit 10,000 first-graders. Mayor Gennady Truhanov emphasized that schools in Odessa are overcrowded, but the authorities are seeking opportunities for admission of children of internally displaced persons.
