“The signing of two documents is aimed at increasing the volume of international technical assistance from the US Government for a total amount of over $54 million. Thus, the total amount of assistance under these Agreements will total over $123 million,” reads the report. Kubiv thanked the US Government for supporting Ukraine, as well as for significant contribution to the economic and social development of Ukraine over the last 25 years. “This assistance is aimed at the key directions of reforms that Ukraine is carrying out: increasing fiscal transparency in the energy sector, functioning of independent and transparent system of justice; transparency and accountability of public administration and services; development of agricultural production,” Kubiv stressed.
