"We have just received the ruling of the English court on the so-called Russian debt, which does not recognize the validity of Ukraine's position and arguments within this case," Danylyuk said. He noted that the Ukrainian side respected this decision, "but we reasonably believe that such a decision does not take into account the impartial facts of economic and military aggression, waged by Russia against Ukraine and its people since 2014, despite the recognition of the illegality of such actions by the international community." Danylyuk noted that Ukraine had received a permission to lodge an appeal against the ruling. “At the request of Ukrainian lawyers, the court also agreed to freeze today’s ruling until the next court session, which will be held no earlier than late April. At the next stages of the trial, Ukraine will continue to consistently hold its ground and protect state interests,” the Minister said.
