The Head of State will fly to Germany right after the participation in festivities on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the President's press service reports. "The trilateral meeting between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande will be held in Berlin on August 24. The issues to be discussed include the situation in Donbas, fulfillment of the Minsk agreements, implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, establishment of the visa-free regime, energy security and reforms in Ukraine," reads the statement. According to Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev, holding of the Ukraine-France-Germany Summit at the initiative of the Ukrainian President and future meetings of Petro Poroshenko with EU leaders in Brussels are the evidence of deep common concern over the deterioration of the security situation in the region as a result of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
