PM Groysman says defence budget should be doubled

"Currently we have UAH 130 billion in budget for the Ukrainian army, our security and defence. However, I believe it would be better to double the defence budget of our country," Groysman said. He noted the increase would be possible upon condition of economic growth. "The development of economy does not tolerate the growth of populism so we must eradicate this phenomenon and demonstrate a really effective state policy," the Head of Ukrainian Government said.
