USA interested in cooperation with Ukraine in gas, coal sectors

The press service of Ukraine`s state-run oil and gas company Naftogaz reported after the meeting between US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev. The parties also discussed the possibility of coal exports from the US to Ukraine. The US side noted significant progress of Ukraine in reforming Naftogaz and the Ukrainian gas market since 2014, but stressed the importance of keeping up the pace of reforms which the Ukrainian government has committed to undertake.
