Ukrainian journalists who work in a combat zone and in the rear, celebrate their professional holiday. This day 25 years ago the Union of Journalists of Ukraine was admitted to the International Federation of Journalists.
According to research by the international organization "Reporters without borders" Ukraine from 2014 was recognized as one of the most dangerous countries for journalists, along with Syria, Palestine, Iraq and Libya.
The talk is not only about those media professionals who daily risk their lives and make reports and stories about war in Donbas, but also about journalists who work in a peaceful Ukraine, investigating corruption in government institutions, said Honored Journalist of Ukraine, head of the National Journalists' Union Sergiy Tomilenko.
