Illegal armed formations attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 21 times in the past day, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) press centre said .One Ukrainian defender has received a shrapnel wound amid grenade fire in the past day.
The village of Novo-Oleksandrivka in the Luhansk sector was attacked three times with the use of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and 82mm mortars. Ten shells were lobbed into the village of Novotoshkivske. Large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers were used to fire on the Ukrainian military in the villages of Novozvanivka and Stanytsia Luhanska.Illegal armed formations in the Donetsk sector used large-caliber machine guns to fire on the Butovka mine, while the town of Avdiyivka came under fire from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
The enemy continued attacks on Ukrainian strongholds in the village of Pavlopil in the Mariupol sector at night.
