In Severodonetsk a project to train internally displaced persons for new specialties will be launched which will expand their employment opportunities. This was reported today by the press service of the Severodonetsk City Council. The project is being implemented by the Norwegian Refugee Council with the support of the United Nations World Food Program and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project is also open to socially vulnerable segments of the population - large families, people with disabilities, people who do not have a permanent income and do not receive social benefits. Participants in the educational program will receive food aid from the UN World Food Program so that they do not worry about the basic needs of their families during their studies.
